Macreddin Golf Club is a challenging and rewarding golfing experience, boasting some of Ireland’s most beautiful scenery and spectacular golf holes, Macreddin is a stunning layout with an impressive 7,120-yard test from the back tees. Designed by Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, this was his first venture into course design and what a magnificent debut it is. Paul has created the golfer’s choice, a challenge for all golfers. The front nine sweeps eastward from the clubhouse. Mature tree-lined fairways synonymous with Macreddin Golf Club are evident from the opening holes. Panoramic views throughout the valley combined with meandering fairways between gentle slopes and natural contours of the terrain, epitomise the style and splendour of the first nine holes. Incorporating 180 acres of Macreddin Valley, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, Paul drew on his years of experience – experience gained in fiery duels with the World’s leading professional golfers on the World’s leading Golf Courses.
